Announcement: Thai Delegation to Attend ASSCA 2026 in South Korea
We are pleased to announce that a delegation of students and researchers from Thailand will participate in the 7th Asian School on Superconducting and Cryogenics for Accelerators (ASSCA 2026). The program will be held at Korea University (Sejong Campus), South Korea, from February 1st to 8th, 2026.
Program Overview
ASSCA 2026 is a prestigious international training program focused on advancing knowledge in superconductivity and cryogenics specifically for particle accelerators. Participants will engage in intensive sessions covering:
Accelerator Physics
Superconducting Magnet Technology
Cryogenic Systems
The program features lectures from world-class experts across five countries and hands-on workshops designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application.
National Participation
Organized and coordinated (team Thailand) by the Heat Pipe and Heat System Association (Thailand), this initiative brings together bright minds from leading Thai institutions, including:
Silpakorn University
Chiang Mai University
Naresuan University
Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna
Synchrotron Light Research Institute (Public Organization) - SLRI
Objectives
This participation aims to empower Thai graduate students, researchers, and engineers by providing access to cutting-edge technology and fostering international collaborations. The knowledge gained will be instrumental in developing Thailand's expertise in particle accelerator technology and high-energy physics.
